1.2.1 Organization
I have organized the book in the style of a technical manual to ensure ease of reference and to facilitate learning of the material. The book is divided into separate sections based on thematically related concepts. I recommend that you read the book in the order it is presented.
Section 1.0 presents introductory material, including an overview of RPGs generally and the Bullseye system. Section 2.0 describes the basic mechanic of the Bullseye system. Section 3.0 provides detailed rules about creating and using characters in play. Sections 4.0 through 6.0 introduce more detailed rules that interact with the basic mechanic. Sections 7.0 and 8.0 offer direction to the GM for running the game, designing the setting, and creating the conflicts. Section 9.0 presents a variety of variant rules for consideration. Finally, the appendices provide useful supplemental material not part of the rules themselves. These include glossaries of game terms and abbreviations, the Master Table, a character sheet, and a license for publishing derivative works. [This section subject to change based on subsequent modifications.]
